Our golden rule remains to pick our grapes at peak ripeness. From this philosophy comes two resulting principles: the quality of the yield and respect for the typicity of our terroirs.

Maturing: the keystone in crafting great wines

Depending on the estate and the Cru, we choose to mature in vats, wooden tuns or oak barrels. Once the wines are in the cellar, time is no longer an object. Our wines rest, round out and ripen for the length of time they require, before being gently bottled.

Jacques Charlet estates

Champ de Cour - Moulin à Vent

Champ de Cour - Moulin à Vent

Purchased in 1997, the vineyard of Champ de Cour benefits from the rigorous application of a "reasoned" approach , with grass left between the rows of vines and minimal use of non organic treatments.
The vines face east across the Saône valley and are located close to the famous windmill. The crumbly, porous sandy soil is granitic in origin.

Domaine de la Viroylette - Fleurie

Domaine de la Viroylette - Fleurie

The Domaine de la Viroylette, owned by Ms Vial, is located in the small hamlet of Vivier, which surrounds an imposing property with its magnificent park, close to the village of Fleurie. The vineyards are situated on the best "climats" of the appellation, "Le Clos" and "La Roilette", the most famous sites on its granite outcrop facing south.

Côte du Py - Morgon

Côte du Py - Morgon

Overlooking the village of Villie-Morgon, the « climat » Côte du Py is the pride of the appellation. The descendants of Charlet family have bought a 5 acres estate on a crumbly schist soil.

Morgon Climat Les Charmes

Morgon Climat Les Charmes

The vineyard of this Morgon is located above the village of Villié-Morgon, on one of the most reputed « climats » : les Charmes.
Exposed south-est, the vines grow on a granitic soil full of big standstones, whose origin still divide the geologists. From these mysterious soils are produced wines full of finesse.

Clos des Poulettes - Juliénas

Clos des Poulettes - Juliénas

Belonging to the family of Paul Loron since three generations, this is one of the rare « Clos » in Beaujolais.
The harvest is vinified according to the traditional burgundian method and is maturing during more than 6 months in the old church of Juliénas.

Domaine des Sansonnets - Pouilly-Fuissé

Domaine des Sansonnets - Pouilly-Fuissé

Situated right in the middle of the village of Pouilly, the Domaine des Sansonnets is laid out around a superb 19th century country house which has a wide Galerie Mâconnaise. The uncontested king of the Mâconnais, this wine comes from the beautiful South Mâconnais region, overlooked by two jagged rocky outcrops: Vergisson and Solutré. The 7,4 acres of 30 - 60 years old vines are planted on clay-limestone soil on hillside slopes facing the rising sun. The estate is run by the same family since 4 generations.

Without added sulfites - Régnié

Without added sulfites - Régnié

This bottle of Régnié is a natural wine and no sulfites were added from the harvest to the bottling.
We hand pick and carefully select only the best fruits from our oldest vineyards, up to 60 years old. Handling the grapes gently from the time they are harvested and intervening minimally in the cellar enhance the antioxidant powers of the wine.

Organic - Viré-Clessé

Organic - Viré-Clessé

Our 5 hectares Viré-Clessé vines are cultivated with respect to the environment and following organic methods. The soil is ploughed and harvest is by hand so that a strict sorting happens in the vineyards. We ferment and age in stainless-steel tanks so that the complexity and diversity of the limestone terroir shines through.

Pouilly-Fuissé - Domaine Bellenand

Pouilly-Fuissé - Domaine Bellenand

This domaine has belonged to the Bellenand family for over 4 generations. Facing south and situated on the best “climats” of the appellation - “La Mure”, “Rousselaine” and “en Pommard” - the wines produced here are full of charm and elegance.
